Since each jurisdiction may have unique criteria, the project manager ensures these guidelines are captured accurately. Once the Fire Department provides their requirements, we prepare and deliver a code-compliant proposal tailored to your facility.

Certified technicians use advanced equipment to capture precise signal strength and quality readings throughout your building.

Once BDA Systems has been engaged for survey, a highly trained and experienced technician with cutting edge equipment will arrive on-site to take signal strength and quality measurements at the exterior and interior of the structure. The signal readings are compiled into a grid report, indicating localized coverage metrics over each portion of the building’s floor plans.

We walk you through the survey results, ensuring every stakeholder clearly understands coverage performance.

Upon report quality assurance sign-off, a video conference or phone call will be scheduled with building ownership / management stakeholders to review the results of the survey corresponding to the signal coverage observed in-building at the time of the assessment. Regardless of the presence or lack thereof signal coverage, only your local Fire Department - AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) may determine the requirement for a signal booster installation.

Our team manages submission and follow-up, streamlining the AHJ’s review and response process

Submit survey to local Fire Department - AHJ for review and written comment. Should the structure(s) exceed the minimum coverage requirement for in-building First Responder public safety radio communications, no signal booster may be installed. Alternatively, should the coverage be deemed insufficient, we provide an on-site multi-vendor bidwalk option for the minimum scope of work required.
